The Aquaglide Log Jam is a deceptively simple concept that delivers maximum replay value. Shaped like a series of rounded logs, the structure creates a crossing challenge where every step shifts and wobbles beneath the user — easy enough to attempt, difficult enough to master, and entertaining enough that participants immediately want to try again. The approachable log-inspired shape draws in users of all ages while the unpredictable rolling surface keeps things genuinely challenging from first attempt to tenth.

The Log Jam connects into any Aquaglide aquapark circuit using the Interlock 5 system and works equally well as a standalone lakefront feature. Aquaglide specifically recommends positioning it at the end of a track run, where its balance challenge creates a natural high-energy finale before participants hit the water.

WHAT RIDERS DO ON THE LOG JAM

The Log Jam is built around three core activities that work across a wide range of ages and ability levels:

Balance: The rounded log-shaped surface rolls and shifts underfoot with every step, creating a continuous balance challenge that rewards persistence and coordination

Obstacle: The structure's shape and layout add physical complexity to any aquapark route, breaking up flat track sections with a distinctive crossing challenge

Jump: An integrated jump station gives users the option to launch off the structure for a high-excitement water entry rather than attempting the crossing

The combination of these activities in a 30-foot structure gives operators meaningful activity variety in a compact, manageable footprint that suits a wide range of water environments.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS

The Log Jam is built to Aquaglide's commercial Cx3 standard — the same material and construction specification used across their full aquapark product line:

Duratex Cx3: Premium 0.90mm / 31oz commercial-grade material optimized for durability, weld strength, and UV resistance

Tritex Cx3: Textured version of Duratex adding grip and cooling attributes on all user contact surfaces

Double I-Beam construction: Extra-reinforced welded double I-Beam framework with 3-layer seams throughout for structural integrity under high user loads

Tubular construction: Welded structural tube elements with 3-layer seams for shape retention and rigidity

Interlock 5 connection system: Three sets of secure, tamper-free 5-ring connections using Aquaglide's 2-Step Vario Strap system for seamless aquapark integration

Halkey-Roberts valves: With tamper-proof caps for quick, effective inflation and deflation
PRV pressure relief valves: Protects against catastrophic over-inflation in high-heat or high-sun conditions

TRiB CG solar-powered air pressure gauges: Integrated into main chambers for real-time pressure monitoring without manual checking, reducing operator maintenance time and ensuring consistent performance throughout the day

AQUAPARK INTEGRATION

The Log Jam connects to any Aquaglide aquapark component using the Interlock 5 system with Vario-Lock straps. It is authorized for use only with Aquaglide-approved products and configurations. Use with third-party aquapark products or unapproved arrangements may increase risk of entrapment or injury.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION NOTES

Minimum water depth: 5.7 feet (1.75 meters) directly beneath and around the structure

Minimum distance from shore: 10 feet (3.0 meters)

Minimum total anchor weight: 3,000 lbs (1,500 kg)

Anchor weight requirements reflect extreme weather, wave, and abnormal conditions. Aquaglide recommends consulting a dock and mooring specialist for anchor installation options and assistance.
